Product Description
Detecto's veterinary scale for medium- to large-size animals is a portable floor scale with a weight capacity of 550 lb / 250 kg and increment divisions of 0.2 lb / 0.1 kg. The VET550 features a remote indicator with an LCD display and a large (36" x 22") stainless steel platform with built-in wheels and an integral guide handle. The VET550 can be used for mobile or stationary use in veterinary practices, animal health facilities and zoos.
Operating functions include a Hold key that allows the animal’s weight to be retained after leaving the platform and a Tare function. The programmable Auto-Shutoff turns off the scale when not in use to conserve batteries (adjustable up to 5 minutes).
The remote indicator has a 7 ft cable length and can be wall mounted. A wall-mount display bracket and mounting hardware are included. The stainless steel platform is durable and easy to wipe down for cleaning and has raised lip platform edges to contain liquids, so they don’t run over the edges of the platform.
The VET550 scale is powered by an included AC adapter or AA batteries (not included) and comes with Detecto's 2-year warranty protection.
